CONVERSION TABLES

THE SOUTH AFRICA system is metric but given the fact that we are now part of the global community and therefore deal, in some instances, with imperial measurements, this conversion table will prove handy to those who encounter the need to convert for our local market. This table originally appeared in the A-Z of Road Transport Terminology and Related Information book published by FleetWatch in partnership with Freightliner. According to feedback received, it proved extremely useful and with the permission of Freightliner, is being reproduced by TruckWatch for our readers.
