Tuning Truckers

Long haul, late night drivers now have a weekly home on the airwaves on Radio 2000. Every Wednesday morning from 00H00 to 02H00, ‘The Midnight Drive’ is broadcast nationally and presented by radio journalists Alwyn Viljoen and Pascourt Khumalo. "We want to promote the status of truck drivers to a point where they are regarded as asset managers and given due credit for their expertise," says Viljoen. "The show is a mix of talk about trucking issues, areas of interest, and good old rock ‘n roll. It’s primarily about entertaining the listener, but also allowing drivers to phone in and voice their concerns about their industry."

So, dear readers, get your fix of truck ‘n roll and ‘choon’ your drivers to tune in too!
