Advice from MACSTEEL VRN's metallurgists and technical experts will ensure clients purchase the correct materials for specific applications. Factors such as abrasion, corrosion, fabrication and structural needs, as well as welding requirements are taken into account when choosing the right material.

FleetWatch, in conjunction with Hulett -Hydro Extrusions, Hulett Aluminium, the Aluminium Federation of Southern Africa and other partners, is proud to announce the launch of South Africa's first competition related to Aluminium products in commercial road transport. Prize money to the value of R27 500 is at stake. Through this competition, the intention is not only to acknowledge and give credit to existing designs but to encourage 'lateral thinking' in both innovative design and the use of Aluminium for the betterment of commercial road transport products. The competition is open to any company, individual or institution other than partners that has a product or uses a method in which Aluminium has contributed to new designs or innovative solutions.
