The flagship of TOHF Trailers' range of products is the TOHF-TRACT, a retractable sliding skeletal trailer that supports a centre-mount freight container to comply with road regulations. Upon arrival at the off-load site, the trailer retracts, moving the container close to the loading dock for easy access by unloading equipment. No expensive load repositioning is required, leading to faster turn-around times and reduced operator costs.
According to the company, judicious use of high-strength/reduced weight steel, innovative and efficient CAD-based design and analysis along with precision laser cut components have all contributed to a significant reduction in tare weights without compromising the chassis strength. Reduced tare weights permit the operator to increase his payload without infringing the increasingly stringent road traffic regulations.
