Trailer Empowerment

It's always encouraging to see black entrepreneurs succeeding in the transport industry. Taking on the big boys of the trailer manufacturing industry is Witbank-based Maseko Trailers. Founded By Sam Maseko in 2001, the company employs 60 people and produces around 20 trailers a month. "We are passionate about trucking and trailers," says Maseko, "as well as empowerment by developing our own skills pool through community partnerships."

Maseko Trailers manufactures a wide range of truck trailers including flat decks, interlink side tippers, tridem twin bin side tippers, end tippers, dropsides, curtain sliders, as well as timber and sugar cane trailers. They even offer trailers for rent! Nice one folks.
