Mack® Trucks build one of the most comprehensive ranges of heavy trucks in the world. Long haul, tippers, concrete mixers, loggers, waste removal and tankers. Recently, to complement the range Mack® Trucks South Africa is importing the Quantum range form Australia. Designed and built to withstand the demanding climate and terrain synonymous with Australian trucking, the Quantum will be marketed in South Africa as a complete RHD, cab-over unit, ideally suited to the interlink trailer system used extensively in the country. The Quantum successfully incorporates the European Cab and American driveline, for it has a cab made by Renault, engine by Mack® , Gearbox by Eaton-Fuller and differentials by Rockwell/Eaton.
