Eaton signs agreement with Tata Motors 

NEWS FROM overseas is that Eaton Corporation has signed a business agreement through to 2014 with Tata Motors, India’s largest automotive manufacturer. Under the agreement, Eaton’s Truck Group will supply heavy duty synchronized transmissions to Tata Motors for use on its World Truck program in India as well as global markets. Initial transmission production will take place at Eaton plants in Tczew, Poland as well as at Wuxi in China, with production moving to its new facility in Pune, India, as volumes increase.
