Gerrie Visagie, MD of Engine Rebuild Centre (ERC), Barloworld's Perkins Engines dealer in Nelspruit, is walking around with a big smile on his face - and so he should be seeing that his company has just been appointed by Armscor to rebuild its engines and transmissions.

An obviously 'chuffed' Visagie says he is proud his company's excellence has, yet again, been recognised by a major concern.

"We were extremely pleased when our quality work was recognised by Barloworld and now we have been recognised by Armscor. This is testimony to our being a leading company in our field and we look forward to increasing business in the years ahead with these two prestigious organisations," said Gerrie.

Martin Jacobs of Barloworld Energy Products (formerly Perkins Power), the Perkins Master Distributor in southern Africa, says that in the three years ERC has been a Perkins dealer, it has grown its monthly Perkins parts sales by over 200% and has achieved its sales targets for ten of the twelve months in 2000.

Well done to ERC for waving the Mpumalanga flag high.
