What are you doing
Cargo Carriers, one of South Africa’s foremost transport companies, has entered into the 2010 World Cup spirit in great style by presenting staff with soccer themed T-shirts. The idea was the brainchild of business development and communications manager, Elmarie Ollewagen, who says she found herself surrounded by all the hype and excitement of the World Cup and wanted the company to do something and get involved. “These T-shirts have been a great success and have done wonders for staff morale,” she says, “Suddenly everyone is talking about the World Cup and they all want a T-shirt!” Well done Cargo Carriers! FleetWatch is impressed by what a simple gesture like a T-shirt can do to get everyone in the company to join hands and work as a team. Following Cargo Carriers’ lead, FleetWatch is challenging transport operators across the country to get out there and grab the spirit of the World Cup and wave the flag for Bafana Bafana and South Africa as host nation. We are offering a mystery prize every month for the best example of what the South African road transport industry can do to wave the flag for South Africa and the soccer World Cup. All you have to do is send details of your soccer promotion and an accompanying photograph to fleetwatch@pixie.co.za.C’mon everyone. Get into the spirit of it all. |
