Excellence in distribution

The world's second largest brewer, SAB/Miller, is no stranger to the export markets of Africa and has established a strong presence in Namibia with Castle Brewing Namibia.
Due to legislation, Castle Brewing Namibia does not brew SAB beers in Namibia. It distributes the product and it is thus that excellence in distribution is one of the company's main challenges. All Castle Brewing Namibia products are imported from South Africa for Namibian consumers where time and temperature play a major role in maintaining product quality.
Dyna enjoys a reputation in this region as being one of the distribution doyens of the trucking industry and it is no different in the case of South African Breweries where new Dyna 7-124 trucks are involved in distributing SAB beer brands to Namibian consumers.
Admirable that while ensuring excellent distribution, Castle Brewing Namibia is also currently involved in a drive to assist environmental care in Namibia. This consists of filling otherwise empty trucks on long-distance return loads with cans collected by Collect-a-Can and glass for recycling. This contribution to Namibia's environment has a positive impact on tourism - a major industry in Namibia.
"Castle Brewing Namibia are to be commended for their efforts in environmental clean-up," says Henk Maree, Director of Toyota South Africa Motors Truck Division. "Both Hino and Dyna incorporate environmental care values in their long-term product strategy and we are pleased to associate ourselves directly with these efforts".
