Throughout the 30 year concession period, ongoing rehabilitation work and upgrades will be executed on all sections of the road and will include the provision of additional passing and climbing lanes, widening of structures and asphalt overlays in order that the standard of the road is maintained to ensure a prescribed level of service.

Regular prescribed evaluation and monitoring procedures will determine the timing of this work.
